COMPANY HISTORY

Mail Sort was founded in 1987 by Carman & Sandy Nichols. Our first location was one of Ellison Realty 1,000 square foot warehouses in the North East section of Ocala. During start up, Sandy worked part time at Mail Sort and full time as an RN in the Pre-Operative Care Unit at Munroe Regional Medical Center. A short time later she came into Mail Sort full time. It was during this time that Mail Sort became the GO TO source for any mailing question or service in Ocala. If a question came up, the answer was either, “Mail Sort” or “Carman”.

In 1990 we moved into our present location on SW 7th Street and by the year 2000 we had grown to the point of needing additional space. Adding the back bay that year gave us 4,300 square feet under roof.

Mail Sort has been privileged to grow with Ocala and we look forward to servicing Ocala for many more years.
